There are countless books about penguins, including picture books for children and adult fiction and nonfiction books for adults.

If you’re looking for something specific, try searching for “penguin” on your local library’s website or bookstore. You might be surprised by what you find!

3. Pose like a Penguin

Penguins are known for their awkward stances and quirky looks, so why not try them out yourself?

Try standing with one leg forward and one leg back like an Emperor Penguin or putting both hands on your hips like an Adélie Penguin.

And don’t forget to fluff up your chest feathers like a King Penguin!

4. Share Penguin Day on Social Media

• The largest penguin species is the Emperor Penguin (Aptenodytes forsteri), which can grow up to 45 inches tall and weigh up to 55-100 pounds!
• Penguins are incredibly diverse. They have a far evolutionary history from total black to combination.
