Human Trafficking… Even this word gives out intense chills. Unfortunately, human trafficking is widespread in today’s world.
On the other hand, the good news is that many brave victims survive.
There is a day declared as National Inner Beauty Day on October 7th in honor of these survivors to let them know how proud we are of them.
When is the National Inner Beauty Day:
The national inner beauty day is observed every year on the 7th of October in America and worldwide.
The Purpose of Inner Beauty Day:
We mostly neglect the incredible essential traits that describe humankind, the often-underappreciated interior, and inner beauty.
This day was established to bring attention to it. As a result, various institutions and individuals from all over the globe put a spotlight on this critical issue.
The main motive of this day is to encourage and be encouraged about your own self. Not only about your outer self but your inner self.
You may have experienced some traumatizing situations, but you made it! This is something to be super proud of.
Human trafficking is a worrying trend that affects people of different ethnicities, social levels, and sexes.
No community is immune to the universal threat of human smugglers. Human traffickers are driven by avarice and a lack of respect for humanity.
They prey on the helpless and harm their victims’ cognitive, emotional and physical health in the worst possible way.
However, hats off to the survivors! Who makes their way back but yes, let’s not forget that they don’t come back with a normal state of mind.
The darkness takes over their mind altogether. But this is not the end of the world. Human traffickers are no one to decide your fate.
You defeated them and returned, but now you cannot let them win by losing self-esteem.
There are billions of people with billions of dark stories hidden within them. This day is meant to let them know it’s fine and they are beautiful in and out.
Make the best of this day. Accept your inner self with love. Spread the message of self-love.
We must admit that the one who came up with the idea of this day has a gem of a heart and great thinking!

How To Observe National Inner Beauty Day
There are various kind ways to observe this National Day of Inner Beauty. Here are some of my suggestions.
1. Make a Video:
As been said before, this day is to encourage you to embrace your inner beauty. On this day, be brave and step out of your zone.
In this modern era, the internet and its social platforms are the best medium to raise your voice.
So, take the opportunity of Inner Beauty Day and make a video. Share your story. It is time to say aloud to the world how brave you have been.
Your voice will reach millions of people. You will not only feel brave, but it will also give you a boost of encouragement and appreciation.
There should be no more hiding. The more you reveal, the more motivated and prouder you will feel.
You are a survivor, and the world must know that; you should be proud of yourself.
If you haven’t experienced anything like that by yourself, but you know somebody who has gone through this, even you can make an appreciation video for them.
Ask survivors to be proud of their beautiful inner selves. Tell them to be proud of how they survived hell.
A single video can do a lot. It will encourage uncountable people. It will motivate more and more people to come forward and share their stories.
This is definitely a meaningful thing to do on this day.
2. Encourage People Around You:
We often don’t know what the other person has been through. Everyone has their own story. Keep your eyes and heart open.
Observe if your close one is going through depression, and motivate them to return to everyday life.
Moreover, if you observe any type of irregular activity around you and if you see someone’s behavior suddenly drastically change.
Reach out and ask them, or if there is something serious, then don’t take an extra minute to call the human trafficking helpline number.
This is your duty as a citizen, so don’t hesitate to do your part!
A small amount of donation can do wonders. There are numerous organizations dedicated to the survivors of human trafficking.
They are also working their best to stop this devastating abusive act of human trafficking.
They need your help. On this national day, a part of this campaign by adding as much as possible.
You might not be able to donate in large amount, but a small amount will be as adequate as anything else.
Also, ask your family and friends to donate as well. This is a serious cause, and we all need to fix this together. Be generous!
4. Pay a Visit to Survival Centers:
This is an excellent day to visit the human trafficking survival centers. Go meet them, hear their stories and tell them to be strong.
Appreciate them and make them feel equally loved. Hear them speak. Tell them how beautiful they are from the inside.
It is time to let the light of your inner beauty shine out. Accept it and move on.
With high spirits, observe this precious National Inner Beauty Day on Octboer 7th, 2022. Embrace your internal self with your whole heart
